What have you done for others lately? To build a strong network, you should help as many people as possible and make connections with them. Reaching out to people to give them information about open positions, etc. is a great way to build your networks. This is something I do often. Since I have a long-term view of professional networking, I have been honored to be hired for certain positions in the past few years. Although I usually decline, I will always reach out to my network for someone who is a good fit for the job and make that connection. It’s magical when I can help make that connection.

Referring me to job seekers increases their value

A qualified candidate is a source that the hiring manager trusts and can trust. This increases their value as a manager.

I feel great about helping both sides, and also gain social capital. Both parties are more likely to help me in the future, if necessary. They will always remember how I helped them in this situation.

The Interview Method This interview method is especially effective for students. You’ll be surprised at how willing people are to help students and beginners in their fields. If you have the opportunity to make connections with people in your target companies through tools such as LinkedIn, offer to take them out to lunch or coffee in exchange for answering any questions. The list of questions should be given to them in advance and should be focused on them. Ask them what they love about their job, the company, and so on. This is not only for project managers. It could also be anyone in the company. You can gain valuable insights into the culture of the company that will be helpful if you are offered a job. The more people you know and like, the better your chances of landing a job. Don’t ask for a job. You should mention that you are interested in a job, but it is not appropriate to ask them if they know of any positions unless you have a strong relationship.
